Hello all. I just wanted to say thanks to evryone for all the good advice on this forum. I never posted before because any question I needed answered had already been dealt with. I completed my NAUI Divemaster training last night after roughly 8 months of work. I found it to be one of the most difficult and challenging endeavors I've ever attempted.

Also, I found that when doing the snorkel ditch & recovery, get the mask and clear it first. It allows you not only to see what you're doing, but to exhale some CO2 and stay on the bottom.

Thanks again.

Congratulations! Make sure you get your insurance, and be proud of your DM number!

Congrats!
A note on the skin ditch, my friend found that it was easier for him to do his fins first instead of the mask since clearing the mask made him want to release all of his air from his lungs.
