OK so I have decided its time to replace my current fins and have decided on the Apollo Bio-Fin Pros. The only thing pending is do I replace my boots. Anyone have any recommendation on new boots? What specifically you like and dislike.

IMHO, Oceanic Venture boots work very well with Apollo Bio-fins—they fit the foot pockets like a glove. Oceanic’s website only shows a 5mm version but here in Thailand we also have a 3mm version. They are very soft and light. The only down side is that they will not provide much support over rocky terrain if you have to walk to your entry point.

Another technique you might want to try is find boots that fit your foot pocket. Trust me, trying to make fins fit is a bad idea; I would know.
