Thanks....Think I found a subframe for around 75.00 Probabley going to get the blue and black/ Hey at least it will match my Atomic z1

Well I just got back from a couple dives today with the new Atomic frameless... guess the rubbing with toothpaste 4 time prior to the dive didn't get all the stuff off the lens... had some severe fogging on the 1st dive! Second dive, I used some baby shampoo and that solved the problem... But then again I've got one of those faces that radiate like an oven and given the frameless lens sits closer to my face...

Took awhile to get used to the frameless as it's so much smaller than my old tusa visualator. It sits a lot lower on my forehead and so whenever I did a mask clear, I would accidentally put on too high on my head... Got a pretty good seal except for just below the nose (I shaved...). But the way skirt is made, it doesn't really cause too much trouble.

Edit: as for the utraclear, to be honest I didn't see anything different from my old Tusa mask...

I'm wondering about the toothpaste with baking soda or a baking soda paste cause of a little bit of grit??
Darcy from Atomic!!! any suggestions???

I just used my Oral-B electronic toothbrush on it :D 40,000 RPM seems to have done the trick

Put both lenses against white paper

and go diving?

I'm only interested in real life differences, i.e. how they look u/w. And sadly I have to say I didn't have this "wow, look how clear things are" revelation diving with the Atomic. Now mind you, I've only had 2 dives (1 if you skip the 1st when I was constantly fogging), but the second dive, the lens stayed fog free. Again this is just my opinion so far... What I do like is the frameless is so tiny and light compared to my old monster visualator (but I guess you could say that about all frameless designs by nature...)

Sdiver- lol, I was just looking at my electric toothbrush last nite...

Just ordered the subframe for 75.00!!!!! Will try it in Bonaire in Oct.Used my new red tinted Seavision mask in St. Lucia two weeks ago,,just wanted something with a bigger field of vision,,,and I guess I love spending the $$$

I tried on both the Subframe and the Frameless today. The Subframe seemed to have a visual obstruction in the center and also pressed against my forehead. I think I'm going to go back and get the Frameless tomorrow, it fit great.
