Hopefully this boat will sink too. They're every bit as bad as the other side. Just shameless hippies seeking publicity with no real plan or idea what they're doing. The boat handling and actual boat management as well is at best incompetent.

Their amateurs with boats in the real seas. At some point they're going to hurt someone through their own incompetence.

Sea Shepard will be at the next Florida Dive Show in early December.

I was sorry to hear that they are giving them a platform for their fund raising. If they don't get some good seminars, I wont be going.

I guess I should have posted what I have found here as an update, but I was looking to see if the Adi Gil did go down after she was hit in the SB wreck forum.
In answer it was yes and that they wanted to tow it in but Paul Watson "allegedly" told the crew to scuttle the bat boat...and that it must be deep and cold!

I do like the idea of what they want to do but for some reason it falls short. :shakehead:
I would like to help but Paul Watson is a little crazy for my taste! I do hope that he does not get anyone killed this next year.

And on a final note. Did it not look like in the vid that they could have moved, and if so why did they not? If my butt were the line I dont think I would let it get run over!

You know Pete, that is an excellent idea

They will probably get lots of visits from their supporters , but using this opportunity to give voice to an opposing view (civilly and thoughtfuly) while it might not change anything they do in a substantial way, more contact with people and points of view is good

In addition, it does not have a name, but that any interested donors with deep pockets ($1m+) should certainly contact them. For now the ship is simply being called the "Interceptor".]

I believe they had a contract with Addy Gill that a vessel would bare his name for XX years so they will prob'ly name it Addy gill 2.

I agree with SS passion but not their methods. They have painted the Japanese into a corner where they have no way of changing how they do things with out losing face and that's not gunna happen.

Although I sympathize with the Sea Shepard cause, they lost me when they resorted to piracy on the high seas.

All the best, James
