VERY impressed with Explorer Ventures and the Aggressor folks....way to step up and help people salvage their vacations!!! Both companies have definitely put themselves on my short list for my next liveaboard trip!

Seemingly humanitarian, but try to be realistic.
They're all dying.
No-one ever wants to be seen "discounting" their trips in these trying times... dive vacationers will instantly expect such discounts in the future. Same for those who paid "full price" for the same trip.
They're just trying to fill boats without offering discounted trips... and the Nekton demise allows them a platform to do this and seem inviting while accessing a pre-selected type of dive traveller.
If these savior operations were full-up on their trips, try and convince me that they would be discounting their trips in any way, much less this.
A nice deal, but see it for what it is. Resorts and Liveaboards alike will be falling off the map in increasing numbers. The regional family hotel/tourism industry led the way.
This business sucks big time right now.

I expect nothing less than the doomsday forecast from you, a devout NEKTOID*
Some boats are actually doing quite well but those are the ones that respect and take care of their customer base.
*NEKTOID - those who prior to Nekton's demise defended the Nekton operation no matter how low the nitrox % went, no matter how many trips ran with no nitrox at all, no matter how mildewed the cabins were, no matter how poor the overall condition of the vessel was, no matter how many dive safety protocols were being broken by the crew, and no matter how near the embarkation port the boat stayed because they only had a single operable engine.
