I rebuild the generic ones just coz I can. Something to do.
I actually didn't realize I had responded in the DIY forum. When my next one goes i will tear it apart and have a go as well... why not. As long as the metal isn't corroded it should be fine.

Very easy to do. There are two types of generic inflators, one fractionally easier than the other to overhaul. There is a video on how to on DGX website. Kit is missing one of the O rings. When you get around to it, DM me, happy to help.
