well I did OW with PADI, Nitrox with Naui, but I thought that since I got OW from Padi that I should do the next level class with them again. Plus, the 2 closest dive shops I always go to am on first name basis with are PADI-I like to try and keep my money local since those guys take care of my for all my little parts and service.

I don't really know if I want to head to a resort anyways-they make pleanty of cash. I think I'd rather put some money into a local dive shop that runs some boat dives everyday.

Hey Navy21, sorry about hitting this one a day late. Given that you are on the North Shore have you talked with Atlantic Divers? http://www.atlanticdivers.com/

Steve, who runs the place is very accomadating on scheduling classes. He also sells DUI and can assist you in getting you fitted for a dry suit. Give him a call or stop by his shop.

atlantic divers is alright, but he seems to be a bit biased..
it seems that if he doesnt deal with a certain company, they flat out suck.

and he think because im a kid that im some newbie
:X

anyways, drew we should do the u boat this summer, or go to the isle of shoals
just because your not openwater doesnt mean you have to stay max 60ft depth, recreational divers can go max 130ft so why dont you go to cathedral some of the deeper dives on the northern part of cape ann?

i havent dove latly because ive been busy w/ friends and stuff but i might go this sunday i have a 4 day weekend
