Wassup guys. Seems like la familia is going to the PI in January and I have been tasked with making/planning the trip to Baguio/Banaue. I've been to Baguio using the bus to get there. However don't know how to get from Baguio to Banaue. Is there a bus or an airport that goes directly there? We've never seen the rice terraces so we figured it's about time we see it on this upcoming trip. Since we're planning on going during high season, I figured it's better to start making plans early. Thanks.

PS: How far is Busuanga to Coron. I found flights to Busuanga but not to Coron. Thanks again.

After some talking with some people, turns out the Manila -> Banaue bus stopped servicing a couple of years ago. Not enough revenue and it was apparently a non-aircon bus, which would suck. So best route would be through Baguio. Or how about flying to Laoag, Ilocos Norte and busing down?

Did you see Paks post in the Coron Review thread I posted? He has experience taking the jeep from the Busuanga Airport to Coron. Apparently 45 min bumpy jeepney ride. I think Jag has experience too.

sorry no airport in baguio...

you might want to rent a van instead so you can make as many stop overs as much as you want. also, that way you get to maximize your tour northern luzon tour :)

Loakan airport. Only prop not jet aircraft.
Check with Asian Spirit.

only way to get to Banaue via baguio is to take a bus from the baguio bus terminal near the central market. from their there are several buses that go to banaue/sagada region. ive taken it many times. there is only one trip 630am. best be their early to secure your seats in the bus.

The trip will take you about 8-10 hours. bring snacks as the trip is very long and hard. also it is very memorable experience as youn will be driving along scenic slopes which can often be nerve -wrenching as the bus snakes along barrier-less roads with sheer vertical drops. awsome experience. id recommend it to anyone.

spoon organize a camping trip to a place where there is fresh running water .

i don't like going on camping trips where there are no clean flowing water.

and it should be not to much of prep. a simple trek where we can pitch camp . similar to famy 15 yrs ago. but not there.please wag dun.... wasted na yun lugar na yun

in that case i can plan a trek trip to sagada. ive been there over a dozen times and now all the locals. ive extensively trekked and caved this area and would love to bring ya guys up there. its a beutiful place. we will have access to a house or two for lodging and their are numerous camping sites available. also lots of streams to clean up. i recommend it.

btw i have been meaning to go back.
