Despite today's high surf, my home is not 23 feet under water, but my Vyper thinks it is.
What happened is that I was checking my equipment for a dive planned for tomorrow. I pressurised everything and the Vyper read about 3100psi. I depressurised the hoses and now the Vyper keeps reading anywhere from between 25 feet to 2 feet depth just sitting on my desk. The dive timer says 70 minutes, that's how long it's been doing this.

Could it be the battery? It's 2 years old, but only 6 dives on it since I got too busy in law school. It has sat in its box on a shelf undisturbed in a climate controlled room.
Suunto customer service is closed until Sunday...

Edit- I was able to contact a tech at another number. Seems this is a known issue, but it's under warranty..if I can find the receipt.
