What kind of threw me was some of the fittings being what looks like brass. I never thought of brass being good for the pressures in a SCBA or SCUBA system.

your tank valves and first stages are all brass, pretty much all of the fittings in the compressor as as well. It's more than strong enough for those applications.

SCBA is either CGA346 or 347, but 347 is predominant and backwards compatible
