Do you really need new regulators. Aqua Lung supports most all of their older regulators with parts and service. My newest regulator is a Scuba Pro MK 5 that is at least 25 years old. I don't feel I could gain much if any in the way of performance or reliability with a newer regulator.

I also have a well-used USD SEA3 regulator from 1995. Works fine and servicing it is not a problem. This is my "new" reg. The "old" one is a Conshelf XII from ~1969.
 
The lifetime warrenty is what makes the difference between an Apeks and a Scubapro..........I like the Apeks though. I think they both have over balanced first stages. Good for demanding breathing situations.
