Fine. There are other readers, though.

We all know that the GUE program is well thought-out and vigorous, but there is nothing that is taught through GUE that can't be learned elsewhere.

OK so we have several people who have done GUE-F. Any that have done Intro to Tech personally? I'm pretty sure that's the route I'm going now, but just curious about personal experiences with it.

If I were diving with Gue people they wouldn't have been as kind hearted from what I've read on this board.

yeah, we like to kick puppies after we're done diving...

Oh that's so 80's.....passe. In the 21st century we cut up dolphin pups to be really mean...:D

Who are these "Gue people" exactly? Since not all GUE trained divers are DIR, and not all DIR divers are GUE trained, who are you talking about?

Aww, I think julio just needs a hug... :hug1:

:rofl3:

Nothing that has not been done years before. Good to see it all again.

Imagine it as the old workshop style Fundies course with an AL40 strapped to your left side.

Or at least, that's the Intro to Tech course I took in 2006.

Rainman,

Could you elaborate a little more on the Intro course you took?

I am also looking for information on this course since it was recommended to me in another thread.

Thanks,

I'm taking Fundies later in Sept., but since I'm a glutton for training and am considering taking the Naui course at some point early next year, I'm curious to hear from anyone who has taken both. Does such a person exist?

Further, are there any gear reqs between the two courses that would require changing, or are they both cross-compatible (or at least, is the GUE gear list compatible with the Naui list)?
