I am sorry, scubaren, I can not find NAET in any published in any medical journals. I can not find it on PUBmed medline. I can not find nambudripad's name on any articles either.

There are many journals in alternative medicine, chiropractic medicine, allopathinc and osteopathic medicine that would be more than happy to publish clinical findings done in a scientific manner (double blinded, observer and control). Hard to do a controlled study when patients are guided to you only to be offered one therapy. It is harder to believe NAET, when some of the web search ended up showing result of disciplinary board against chiropractic and other practicioner using NAET and getting sanctioned for unethical behavior.

At least EPD has had published articles, and still is practiced by some alternative practicioner (I don't believe it does what they claimed). But NAET has absolutely nothing except web claims from unknown patients.

Why can't anyone do a well controlled clinical trial? Is it because the practicioners aren't capable of it? Does this speak poorly of the practicioners offering NAET? I would say yes.

Apparently more research were done to disprove her methods of diagnosis, than any research done to prove that NAET worked:

NAET - Faith Healing

I guess, not to support EPD.... At least they had many efforts to do controlled trials. With NAET - none whatsoever. So where does that leave us? Can not believe it if you can't prove it.

OK Doctor.

So far I have had two NAET treatments. The first discovery was a vitamin C allergy. I have had the runny nose/sneezing thing for YEARS every morning. Never stopped to think it might be the grapefruit I ate every morning. After two treatments for vitamin C allergy I am not sneezing and no longer have a runny nose every morning. My running joke used to be that I should have stock in the tissue companies because I went through a box so fast. I still have the asthma problem but time will tell if this all works out. From what I was told it is important to get my immune system properly functioning so the ability to accept C is critical. Also, out of curiosity I checked my recent blood test and found that my vitamin C level was very low. I'd bet that my absorption of the vitamin is better now.

I wonder if a NAET practicioner will tell me I am allergic to my ex wife. I've a dreadful headache every time I have to speak to her. Just kidding.

Thanks for the report. It is incidental findings like these that adds up to something significant. Just don't want you to waste money on unproven treatment.

Thanks fisherdvm. I appreciate your concern.

I have begun reading Say Goodbye To Illness by Devi S. Nambudripad. There are doctors who support NAET including Charles G. Gableman M.D. - Diplomate, American Board of Allergy and Immunology. 5105 River Bluff Drive, Fort Worth, Texas 76132

There is something to this. I don't claim to understand it but it is working for me so far. There are instances in the book of curing severe allergies including peanuts.

I considered my asthma diagnosis a death sentence to my diving. It has been a drastic downward spiral for me with no hope for a cure until now. I look forward to being cured to dive again one day. I won't chance diving until I know I won't damage my lungs by trapping air. Even if it takes a year or two I'm willing to stick with it if it works. I'll keep you posted.

Dr. Gableman was licensed in NY in 1984. He had it revoked in 1992 for 2 counts of sexual misconduct. He was charged with sexual felonies for "biting the breast" of 2 patients. It was reduced to a misdemeanor due to Alford Plea.

I can't make a hotlink for it, cut and paste it on explorer, and you can read the 40 page report about him.

His application for license to practice medicine in Rhode Island was denied in 1995 http://www.health.state.ri.us/hsr/bmld/disciplinary-al.php

The doctor in the link is Charles Grover Gableman, III. Unless there are 2 Charles G. Gableman in the country, it might explain why he would support NAET if he was denied licensure in 2 states for lying about previous crimes (sexual misconduct, and abuse of his wife).

Somehow, he managed to get a license in california, where he practices as a psychiatrist and environmental medicine doctor:

I guess when you have Dr. Nambudripad who graduated from a medical school in Antigua which is not recognized by at least 5 or 6 states in the U.S. (which grants MDs for previous experience as a nurse, chiropractor, or dentist; allow student to attend school for 4 months, and gain credit for 1 year, and has an online program for taking classes - and graduate) supported by a doctor who can not get license to practice medicine due to prior felony charges.

You have to kind of question.
