Do tell us where did you dive? What caves did you see? Where did you stay & where was the best chow??
Thanks for the opportunity to express my exuberance!

I was able to muck about Little river, Peacock and Ginnie for 14 dives. Especially enjoyed maneuvering the line at peacock 1 towards waterhole 3. Also blown away by the fossils throughout Ginnie springs.

Eats: beyond being spoiled by the legendary Bird's grill I enjoyed the Olde Times Country Buffet, Lake City for mountains of grub at the end of a day.

And I'm pleased to discover the caves aren't filled with trolls, enjoyed my time at the surface with you guys, and even a few girls! Much to learn and heartening to see how readily know how is shared.

All the best,
Cameron

Any updates on this with the current 2 BODs fighting each, one in control of the websites, the other in control of the Facebook acoount? From what I read on the CDF the BOD in charge of the Facebook account has let Larry Green go and made an announcement that he has not returned the files and card printer to them that they are suing RN over (refresher: RN says he returned both, BOD filed suit against RN saying he's kept them). So @GDI, can you clear up how LG can have possession of items that were claimed to have not been returned and with a lawsuit pending on? WTF is going on with the NACD?

I was hosting their site. I was asked by Murcar to give him access so he could "Back up files" and then he changed everything. As far as I can ascertain, Konstantin is the duly appointed webmaster for the NACD. He asked that I give permission back to him, which I did. Rick has asked for it back, but the bylaws are pretty clear that Konstantin should have control over it. Today, the website has been pointed to another server, again in direct violation of NACD rules and bylaws. I consider all these people friends and would love to see them resolve this amicably. I feel betrayed.

What I don't get out of this is how Rick thinks he is still the president. He wasn't elected by a ballot either so how is his election anymore valid than the one he just annulled? It really is entertaining watching him and the lawyer trying to hang onto power.

At the risk of sounding dense, who is on the board, and where is the "stuff" (computer, card printer, secret decoder ring, list of donors, list of members)? Who are members? Has everyone's membership expired, except for the lifetime members? And if their 501 c (3) status is expired (I'm told they haven't filed returns for years, and the IRS only gives you 3), they can't take or spend any money. If they do, the board and especially the president can go to tax jail.

Even if he retains "power", what's his standing in the community? Are there any bridges left to burn?

Frank - that is one of many reasons many people are going nuts. Reprinted from Facebook with permission.

Rob Neto:
When I was one of the administrators of the Google Drive account one rule was no account gets deleted. Names.and passwords are changed but accounts remain intact. For example, when Tracy Grubbs ended his term and Chris Corbett became a director the account was changed from Tracy's name to Chris'. Chris could go through all of Tracy's old emails because they were still there. We also saved all documents to Google Drive. They were shared but they resided under the account of the person who uploaded them.

Well, my guess is when Jeff, MA, and I resigned someone deleted our accounts rather than just change the names and passwords. When that was done they also deleted all of our emails and uploaded documents. This, in turn, deleted all of the training records and other work we had done over the years. But that's what happens when you have someone who knows nothing about IT take over administrative control of an IT account.

The end result is that, it seems, ALL records are gone!

Let's see, there seem to be two BoDs, of only 3 members each, none of whom [I think] are recognized to really be on the BoD.
Who are members?
No one that will admit to it, except for Life Members lamenting the fact they cannot get a refund.
Has everyone's membership expired, except for the lifetime members?
Well, there seems to be a problem with the records that were deleted . . . .

Erm, yeah - and one of the reasons that several people, including me, have requested an audit . . . .
