I have tried to avoid this discussion, however, am I to understand that if you post something that is not complementary to the current BOD, that you get some sort of letter threatening you? From an attorney? Really? Hell, that's nuttier than a squirrels turd.
 
Those "Deleted" posts are not done by SB staff. Everyone has 24 hours to enact self imposed censorship.

This is somewhat reminiscent of recent posts on CDF and SB raising concerns about a minor in Mexico who may have been engaging in cave dives. Upon receiving a letter from a purported lawyer based in Switzerland, CDF took down the thread. Kudos to SB for not succumbing to intimidation.

For those who are new and don't know, ScubaBoard has been down the lawsuit road before, and Pete knows what can and cannot be done more than most people running a discussion forum like this one. Some threats are valid. Some threats are empty. It is good to know the difference.
