My fusion arrived - got the "package" with tech skin, pockets, MKII john, booties, size 13 boots, bag, the whole thing. Tried it on right away and almost suffocated myself because I didn't trim the neck seal first! Can't wait to get it wet. Trimmed the neck and wrist seals and then tried it on again later in the so my wife could see it too. She was, uh, less excited about the whole thing than I was...

Question for those that have the Evo 3 boots. What fins are you using?

I've got scuba pro twin jets, XL and the boots are too big. Is the foot pocket in the older Scuba Pro Jet Fins size XL big enough to fit these boots or is there some way to stretch the foot pocket in my existing fins to make this work?

No. You're gonna need a bigger set of fins.

XXL Jets will work as will XXL OMS slipstreams.

Besides with a dry suit many divers suddenly discover split fins just don't provide the power you need - even with a fusion.

Arrg! I was afraid of this...and XXL's?!? Wow, didn't think I'd have to go that big. That probably means that the foot pocket in those will be so darn big that I'll have to keep my split fins for when I dive in a wet suit and booties huh?

Thanks! Now I have to hunt for a pair!

Enjoy your suit! The Hollis F1 in a 2XL is what I wear with my 13s  Great fit, and not too tight that you struggle to get out of it

I ended up just using a larger wetsuit boot and a nice set of Thorlo socks. Fins fit fine.

BTW, my wife uses split fins with her Fusion, she keeps up just fine.

Hey excuse me for hijacking a thread, but what underwear is everyone wearing under this suit. I have seen it and it is impressive and I want one. I currently dive the weezle extreme, but am wondering if it would be too bulky.

We use the MK2 from Whites. Good for us down to 50 before we put on the optional jacket.

I dove the Fusion with Weezle Extremes and had no problem at all....

Actually did some swift water rescue swimming with lots of hard surface swimming.., the Weezles were not a problem

I'm really torn on this one. I don't want to have to wear the Evo3's on every dive even tropical but also don't really "need" two sets of fins. The other option would be to keep the current Twin Jets but get Chuck Taylors for dry suit boots if they'd even fit.

I'm sure w/ XXL Hollis or Jet fins they'd be FAR too big for my wet suit boots for tropical diving...

Depends on your tropical boots.....I wear SeaSofts, hard sole boot, and it fits perfect in them whether at the pool in just those, or quarry in drysuit...so just buy new fins and boots :D
