Guess who's not happy......

Speak for yourself! Even if we didn't get to dive the U-boat, we still got to do two good shore dives!

As long as I get to dive, I am happy! :eyebrow:

Being sick = evil.
It needs to go away.
So Linda can be happy too and dive this weekend.

And Monday Matt and I will do a shore dive someplace after we go through ritual of showing up at the dive shop to discover the U-boat charter is cancelled again! :eyebrow:

That's too bad. We did get out on Sunday morning. We had two foot seas and negligible surface current.

After my buddy and I dropped, we picked up a slight current below 100 fsw running from bow to stern. Vis was 10 - 15 feet at the stern, 25 or so at the bow.

We did two complete circumnavigations of the exterior. We dropped into the forward blast hole, explored the new break at the stern and checked out the now broken bow. We hit the ascent line at 50 minutes and were on the surface 31 minutes later. Total run time on the dive was 81 minutes.

I've got most of the same crew going out again in November for what will probably be our final trip of the year (the boat gets pulled at the end of November). If I can scare up a second set of doubles, I may try for the Black Point and the u-boat. It would be cool to dive the u-boat and the last ship that she sank on the same trip.

If you can get out there, I highly recommend the dive.

glad to hear you had a good dive. Chris and I will get out there someday but he's right... at least we got to dive :)

Glad someone got out there! Sounds like it was a pretty good day. Good luck in November.

Hey Gabriel,

I am going to be a member of a dive club called the northshore frogmen. They dive every Sunday, and they meet at the Buger King on route 128 going towards Glouscter. They meet their about 830 am. Even if your not a member you can dive with them. Tell them Mike sent you.
