Is fusing like welding but without the grinder to make it look pretty?
Heal fast !!

There is a grinder alright. Big surgery, but I wish you a speedy recovery! Best of luck! I hope your grandnephew will keep us posted.

Hey Pete.... I'm not a pray'n man but want you to know that my positive thoughts and energy and hope for a great outcome of pain relief and increased mobility are with you....

Hang in there, hold the course......and for cry'n out loud....do the flipp'n PT even when it hurts and you don't feel like it !!!

For once I agree completely with NW DD. :p

Doing ALL the PT is critical...and puts YOU in control of your own recovery.
My post-back-surgery (not as extensive as yours) PT started within hours...and the doc credits my full recovery to that, not his skill.

Good luck, bud.

My wife is finally starting to have more good days than bad after cancer treatment. I feel like I’m making progress (after much PT and walking) with my L3/4 herniated disc. Then my wife and I had a beautiful drive today….and got t-boned in our new SUV. Luckily everyone is okay. Maybe I’ll un-retire. Life was easier. Anyway I guess one of the reasons we suffer is so we can empathize with each other. I am a praying man, so I’ll offer up heartfelt yearnings for a successful outcome tomorrow.

I think they use hardware and screw them together. However, I'm only in charge of showing up.

Speaking of showing up, my tee time is 6:00 am. I'll be leaving here at 4:30am to get there good and early. I've been all day sans food, so the earlier the better. Woot!!! I'm excited!!!

I had never heard it put quite like that before. Thanks and thanks for the prayers.

According to the Doc, it will consist of walking, walking, and of course, walking.

What did your PT consist of?

For those posting after this, I don't know when I'll get to read it. I need to pack, and I don't think I'll be taking the laptop. @Wookie will be posting updates as he gets them from my grandnephew or from me when I get back on my phone. I should be home in 2 to 3 days.
