I'll be moving to the Puget Sound area and I'm a little curious about what regs are best suited for that environment? I currently use a Scubapro MKII 1st and 190 2nds for the warm (82F) shallow waters I dive locally now, they breath "OK" for these conditions, and are easily maintained. Seeing how this set up is a down stream piston I'm thinking it might have problems in colder water and be a little less than OK to breath.
So any recommendations with Pros and cons would be great.

If you are going to be in Bremerton, WA area suggest Sound Dive, the local LDS. They are experts at diving conditions and equipment required up in these cold waters. If you don't already have one, think DRY SUIT.

for cold water MK17/G250V would be a really good recommendation

environmentaly sealed with improvement in breathing performance.
G250V is a full metal system, composed of ametal inlet tube, stainless steel orifi ce, metal inhalation-resistance control knob, and a metal hose connector/heat exchanger.

Thanks, I was looking at that very setup the other day(MK17/G250V)at my LDS.
Wasn't sure if that or Aqualung legend set up would be better for the price.
