I've been playing with an Ipod Touch for a while and I'd like to put some movies on it (from DVD's I own). I Googled the issue and got several different possibilities -- free software to rip, free software to format it for the Ipod; relatively inexpensive software that will do that in one step; etc.
If any of you have done/are doing this with the Touch (or Iphone), how did you do it? Did you just use the freebie software? Did you buy some? What was your experience? AND, is it even worth it to do? That is, is watching a movie on a Touch worth the effort (I'm looking at a couple of 7+ hour flights in the next few weeks).
