I don't think it was dredged, but there is no doubt the construction took a toll on the basin. The plants are pretty much gone. I am sure they will eventually come back. The layer of leaves is also gone. That might have more to do with the basin being flooded so much this year, same goes for the plants. We are all still baffled by the big log chain on the boulder in the cavern.

is it just me, or does it look like the Morrison basin got dredged in the past year?

I see more grass in the shallows and at least the beginning of the run than in previous years. There are fish but very small ones. Maybe this is a normal cycle after a drought like we've has the last few years.
 
It has been tooo long since I have been there.
