I've read through the searched posts that I came up with through this board. I've read several threads on stripping steel tanks but didn't find enough info to satisfy my curiosity as to who had done it with good results.
So I have two stripped steel tanks, the ZRC galvinite on the way and plan on coating them. Whats been other resulst with the finish? After talking with the representative from ZRC, I have concerns with the wearing of the material off the tank. Any ideas? How have the tanks stood up, have you had any problems with hydro/vis, etc.

These are Faber tanks, the paint was on so thick that the numbers/stams were hardly legible. They are pristine now (while stripped) and one concern I have is not wanting to fill them out again. I want them legible.

Now, I must admit that I've taken these tanks on as a project, since I dont like white for spearfishing.

Thanks for the info.
