Where do you guys/gals like/dislike to go eat after a day of diving down in Monterey/Carmel? We're down there almost every weekend, and I'm getting tired of the same places.

Like:

Gianni's (on Lighthouse)
London Bridge Pub (near K-dock)
Won Foo Korean (on Lighthouse)
Vivolo's Chowder House (on Lighthouse)
Hula's (on Lighthouse, but never open until late)

Dislike:

Turtle Bay (downtown)
the deli at the end of Breakwater
any place on Cannery Row, except Starbucks and that Cinnamon Roll place ;)

I'm fond of Tillie Gort's. It's right next to the Chowder House.

We like the Mediterranean place on Lighthouse Ave. Don't remember the name but we never miss it. And the owner's really nice. :)

edit: Oh yea, and I like the sushi place a block up from the aquarium on Wave St.

Last weekend we went to The Fish House on Del Monte for the first time.
Glad we had an early reservation 'cuz the place was packed.
We had a very nice dinner there.

We like Gianni's too.

La Familia (on Lighthouse one door west of Reeside)
The Charthouse (on Cannery Row)
The Bulldog Pub (on Lighthouse)
Massaro & Santos (above the breakwater deli)
Chevy's in Gilroy (I know it's not genuine, but it tastes good)
Traildust Ribs in Morgan Hill (this one is the secret place).

I certainly do owe you dinner Brian. Next time you're in the area, let's get a couple dives in and I'll pay off the bet afterwards.

Exit 101 N at Dunne and go west to Monterey St. Turn right on
Monterey. TrailDust is about four blocks up on the right. After
dinner, continue north on Monterey a couple of miles to Cochrane
(first light after the RR underpass), turn right and you'll get back
to 101.
