They're idiots! They need a course on customer relations.

They have to realize that customers do have other options. You do something distasteful in the eyes of your customers and you're only pushing them away to the other options. And then the word gets around... It's pennywise and poundfool. They hurt themselves the most trying to make a few quick pennies and in the process lose a lot of bucks from customers going away.

I rather suspect that the tank owner was not telling the truth about the tank just having undergone VIP. There was only his word as to what happened.

VIP sticker would have verified that. Many shops want to charge for a VIP any time a tank is at zero pressure-thats not a VIP, that's a moisture check.

There was a VIP sticker, A Brand New one! I think I have some moisture where the sun don't shine that they could check... lol
