Does anybody know if a dive op is making runs to the Mohawk wreck off of Fort Myers? Its 20 some miles off-shore so I heard not many boats go out there. Thanks.

Jim at Fantasea Scuba and Hawk Charters is my first choice when booking a trip to the Mohawk.

Agreed. I am going out with both FantaSea and with Capitan Pete's in June. Both use Hawk Charter's El Gavilan for the trip.

I had good trip out June 5th with Captain Jim who owns both FantaSea Scuba and Hawk Charters. Go to either of their pages to find the boat schedule

The Gavilan is nice boat for 6 to 8 divers. Very comfortable, marine head, coolers, chairs for the 2 hour ride out to the wreck.
Captain Jim I very knowledgeable of the area. I felt very safe and well supported diving off of this boat.

The water temp and vis were great. Everyone had very good dives, right up to the point where I lost my camera. Other than that it ws terrific. If anyone finds a Sealife 1400 floating around SW FL, check out he Lost and Found page on Scubaboard.com
