Modified Sola 1200

I thought a few people might be interested in this. I took a SOLA 1200, used, courtesy of Tursiops, rebuilt the battery and then modified the outter ring of 6 white LED's to 440nm LED's and the inner three white LED's to 395nm LED's.

So it is not capable of doing both UV and BLUE light for night diving.

Cool! So the 395 is flood, and the 440 is spot? Or have i got it backwards?

The outer LED's are 440nm and inner is 395nm. It was surprisingly easy to modify once I calculated out the LED specs. The LED's were a bit pricey as they are wurth elektronik. I will be more than happy to let anyone know more details if they would like. I was thinking about modifying another one with the outer ring at 440nm and the inner ring with white.

My next project is to figure out how to make a regular power supply and use multiple charging outputs to charge several lights to reduce the load I need to travel with.
