Does anyone know if the Mini Ox Analyzers can be refurbished. Currently we have
4 older models that are slightly off. They are pretty expensive so I was wondering if
they can be saved. They were purchased from Global but are made by MSA. Anyone
have any experience or input? Thank You.

Sounds like you need new sensors, though you dont say what they are off from. If you use the exact same flow meter to calibrate each unit, and you then sample with the exact same flow meter then they should all be on spot. If not then you probably have a need for new sensors.

Also always calibrate with gas close to what you will sample. IE under 40% oxygen calibrate with Air (with flow) over 40% oxygen content calibrate with 100% oxygen if you can.

Cheers

I agree with the above. What in the H do you mean "slightly off"? The miniox is not expensive. They can be purchased as medical surplus from hospitals for 30 bucks. A really nice unit sells on EBay for closer to $100. The Miniox III in new condition can be had for $150. Those Miniox III are NICE. Normally, sensors are expendable material and not supplied with the meter.
