:sunny Hi there! My name is Matt. Welcome to Scuba Board! I came here looking for help with my diving dream. I’ve met a lot of nice divers and many helpful divers too. I think you will get the information you need from SB. I look forward to reading more of your posts about your diving adventures. If you’d like to chat, please PM me.
I am looking forward to seeing you some more around the boards!

Welcome to ScubaBoard! :happywave

I'll second Scott's suggestion here for finding plenty of local divers.

Dive safe!

Christian

P.S. Due to the high volume of new posts in the Introductions and Greets forum, it's not always possible to keep up with all the new posts here. So, please help me out and send me a PM if you post anything you want me to read or repsond to in this forum.

Hello
I am looking for dives in Michigan, anyone out there!

Welcome to the boards, I'm new to them also and have already found the people friendly and helpful.

I was certified while attending MSU, the local store around there (at least a few years back) was ZZ Underwater World..great people! The two I was closest with was Kerry and Mike, both were always willing to make great suggestions. Also at MSU there was a Dive Club, perhaps a search of the MSU website could get you an email of a local diver to share tips with. Good Luck!

Hi there, and welcome to ScubaBoard! I think that you will be able to learn a lot here, and hopefully you can post some of your own experiences as well! If you have any questions or problems, or you just want to chat, PM me! Otherwise, I hope to get to know you better around the boards!

Safe diving!

Howdy!

I just want to join the others in welcoming you to SB. Hope to get to know you around the forums. Be sure to check out our Great Lakes and Midwest forums.

Completing your Profile and seperately - keeping your Dive Info up to date helps in future diving discussions. PM me if I can help you learn your way around.

Hi Nick.

I'm not available to dive right now but do want to welcome you to Scubaboard and to the Great Lakes Wrecking Crew. If you check out this club you'll see that there a lot of potential buddies in your area. We do have a larger gathering planned for September 25/26 - there's a thread titled something along the lines of 'Meet & Greet II". But, if you are trying to find buddies sooner than that I'm sure you'll find one or more.

Looking forward to meeting / diving with you.

Are you referring to "Torch" as opposed to "Tourch"?
If you are, I live near Torch Lake in the Traverse City area and can point you to some sites in Grand Traverse Bay.
PM me if you want info.
