Just a theory!

The bass were not that aggressive up till the time the Native New Yorker
was sunk. Now it seems they can not tolerate divers! Do you think the
New Yorker was a drug running boat? Do you think residual drugs in her
hull is driving them nuts?

David The Gnome:
The bass have never tried anything with me. But then again I'm also trying to catch them all the time so I guess that could be why.

Krobi was bloodied by the one at table rock, and I had a blast going round and
round with the one over at the New Yorker!

David The Gnome:
Did the bass bite him or something? I can't image a bass being able to do anything through a wetsuit or gloves.
He wasn't in his wetsuit or gloves yet!! And he was taunting that poor bass!!

POOR BASS!?!?!?!

What about poor Kenny? I bet he didn't sleep for days!
I've come to expect attacks from the Pirhana Gill, but the Bass? :11:

I did sympathize with Kenny, even offered to get him a band aid...but that attack was provoked. The bass was only defending himself!

I've been diving Falling Rock for 7 years and the Bass have always
avoided the divers. It seems this year they have become really aggressive.
All Kenny was doing was wiggleing his finger in the water, you call that a
provoked attack? I can't even get them to hit on a hot dog in the water.
This was an attack on a diver, plain and simple! We may have to change
the name of our group.

I don't know about you all, but I'm considering buying one of those chain suits they use for shark diving! Or at least cut up a bunch of aluminum cans and hook them together! Would that count as weight or add to the buoyancy???
