A big group of us were in the grassy area near the elevator shaft entrance at Sharks Cove last weekend. I think there are several advantages....

1) Better Parking
2) Quick walk/entry with NO SNORKLERS
3) Shade under the palms....

no problems in colorado-- no diving without a drysuit either- need to buy a house first so looks like diving is out for a little while. have a great time at the get together. looking forward to the pictures

we.. errr.. i.. entered into the elevator shaft today..
[my other buds looked at the dark hole in lava flats
and opted to just giant-stride off the edge of the shore-line]..

that grassy park area is nice..

as far as parking.. today all three parking lots were totally full
[three-tables, sharks-cove, and surprisingly the fire-house lot
was packed and there was an entire row of cars in the grass too]

where-ever this shindig takes place.. get there early!

Well, I vote for Shark's Cove..

If we (I will volunteer) get there early enough, we can nab the picnic table.

i jumped into the larger elevator shaft today..
on my way to the lava flat.. i passed TWO picnic tables in the grassy area on the far right side of the parking lot.

sea nmf.. maybe you could nab those early monday..

we could start with a night/dawn dive

In the past, when we dove the trench we got there at around 7AM - we could be there maybe 6:30....Think that will do?
