Wow, the photos in this thread keep getting better and better...

jonix your photos have a wonderful mood to them, you are VERY good!

Jam the wine photo is great, even looking at it in the early morning :). I like the way you turned it into water (is that the way it goes??? Something like that). The water droplet shots are wonderful as usual.

Dennis your topside photos are terrific, you are being way too modest.

Y'all continue to amaze & delight!
Thanks.
Rick

I should count myself supremely lucky this beautiful bird seems to have taken up residence in a mango tree right outside.
When I first got under the tree, the hummingbird actually flew down to a branch right in front of me and posed for about 5 minutes!

This hummingbird (streamertail) is endemic to Jamaica...

The underbelly is a beautiful cream colouration...

Looking quizically at me...
"Hey where is that light coming from?"

Final shot, think it gives a sense of scale to how small the bird is...
And the bit of motion in its wing, alludes to just how fast they can move!

Great set, Jam!

Fantastic, Jam! How long a lens were you using?

Fantastic, Jam! How long a lens were you using?

Sigma 70-300mm, f/4.5-5.6, APO DG Macro lens.
IT was zoomed all the way in at 300mm, shot at 1/200s using the internal flash.

Camera shake was a problem, so I had to control my breathing and position myself so there wasn't any shake....

Thanks for the feedback all.
