Sounds like you decided not to give it up? One of the reasons I love diving is the variety of activities and types of diving. I’ve had a passion for photography for most of my diving career, and like you I began spearfishing . . . I won’t say I lost interest in photography, but more just wanted to plan trips around hunting. Fast forward a little and I finally invested in a used sea&sea DSLR housing and set-up recently. I had been shooting with Olympus TG’s with WA wet lens and strobes before that. Now all I can think about is photo opportunities and have been looking to come dive the BHB again, if you want a buddy who is excited about a macro dive to join you sometime let me know. I think it’s normal to get excited about new types of diving, and I think I usually wind up circling back again and enjoying them with a fresh perspective after a while. Curious to hear what you decided to do?
I broke it out for one dive. It had been a year since I used it. I got a few cool pics.
