oh oh oh...

there are still-undiscovered tribes in the Amazon that *knew* you
were going to make a lawyer joke about me

as i would say in Cuban French, "tres originaleux, mon ami"

Aren't you glad some things never change. Like slipping into an old pair of jeans.

simbrooks:
Have you bought the annual pass yet? You seem to be there most weekends!!! I dont get there enough to make it economical.

Look forward to seeing you Chuck - glad you came to your senses again, now dont do it again!

Yes , I purchased the little bugger in December !!!!
Already paid for itself...

Jean

P.S. Hey , maybe we can PASS it around for the diving fees... Er , well , I wouldn't want ANYONE to submit wearing Jean masks... :11:

Cuban French, i thought the nearest that spoke French to you were those in LA - which would be crooked bayou country?

oh no... there's a little-known Cuban French community to the north of Havana

they are hard to find, but they make wonderful cheese

I am still baffled at the Non-Diving GF remark... why in the world would you want to.. I mean really? So many women on these boats these days. All ready to dive and have fun.

It seems more and more the DM's on these boats are women. If you don't breathe for the first 1/3 of the dive then you get to spend the last 1/3 with them usually all alone and stun them with your diving skill. Use your AquaMan telepathic powers to call a whale shark and you got them all doe eyed forever...

Hmmm.......I think if I followed the first part of your advice I would be spending some time with angels instead of DMs.:angel2:

Costs involved; entry to Ginnie for day/night/camping/diving
For rates see www.ginniespringsoutdoors.com

Food to bring; packs of chicken leg quarters, hamburgers, hot dogs, buns for each, chips, side dishes, bacon, eggs, sodas, charcoal, lighter fluid, oak for campfire and grill.
It looks like Eric and I will be the main cooks for the weekend,
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!!!!!!
I will be bringing three coolers for cookables and ice. At least one more for misc. items that need cooling. Condiments are always helpful, as are paper towels, and plates. I have a supply of cups still and plasticware is handled. Anything extra will be added to the stockpile for future events. Once we relocate to the new house, I hope to get a deepfreezer and start stocking it with chicken/burgers/and hot dogs. Things my family uses as well as overstock for the parties.
If you want to just bring money, I am not at all opposed to taking donations. I'm sure we can use it for food costs. Ice is something of an as needed basis since I have two 5-day coolers.
Headcount so far is looking like 30+ divers approximately that in campers, and possible about thirty bubblewatchers.

What were you thinking Chuck...... woman that don't dive are just scarey....

Captain Mike was asking about you the other day, wanted to know how the ear was feeling (and if you were wearing the hat  )

Great guy Captain Mike. Very concerned and did all he could. I'll WILL dive with ya'll again.
The ear is about the same, blocked feeling, hearing in mono.......no no no not the disease......, it's mono versus stereo..... LP not CD...oh never mind...sigh.... .there go any future chances for any dates.
And yes! I'm wearing the hat. In fact I'm very impressed with the quality..SPF 45, Teflon coated and...well don't want to turn this in to a plug but I want to buy a few more.

I believe you said this will be your first spring dive? Well as Cabana Boy, and with your hubby's permission (of course 'cause he carries a gun) may I bring your a hot towel?

I dove in the Blue Springs twice before, freaked me out a little... I'm an ocean sissy, not use to diving into black holes with upward currents under the water... eeek! I'm doing what I can to get mentally ready for Ginnie. If I dive it, I would love to have a nice toasty towel waiting for me when I exit the artic. One question though...... um.... how exactly are you gonna get the towel all snuggley warm? hehehehehe
