Amanpulo was mentioned in one of the issues of Conde Nast - really nice..

so when are we doing a DOR at Amanpulo...
THAT dor will most definitely be limited to the guy who prints money in the bank, the guy who tells banks around the world what to do, the guy building casino in macau, and the guy who is currently buying up the philippines :rofl3:

Instead of exiting left at the Lipa City exit, keep going straight on the
Star Tollway Extension for 20 more kilometers until the very end, where you
enter the Batangas City Diversion Road.

from an email
so to clarify, where does it end up? in bat city?

so if you're going to anilao you come out at bat city and head back towards bauan?

my OW instructor did a video for them (ex deal)... he stayed in one of the villas... "lifestyles of the rich and famous" he said...

a student of mine was given an amanpulo vacay for their honeymoon... she absolutely LOVED it and it was the poshest thing she'd ever experienced BUT it was P195 for a coke in can, and almost P500 for a tapsilog...

they were licking their "free" breakfast plates just so they didn't have to eat lunch and stretch their money for dinner...

i guess you do have to have de niro money to truly enjoy it...

don't know exactly. but i know the highway near the port area is already done. i have always used the gubat route since it's pretty straightforward. but if it will cut travel time, why not? would like to explore the new route when i go diving again hehehe

that's what i saw exactly in the email. would have to discover the route ourselves. :D

go diving tomorrow... bring a camera...

would be good to find out...

too bad google earth is a couple of years outdated... would have been cool to see how it goes...

and yeah, the gubat route rocks... it's actually 500 meters shorter than the cuenca route but faster since there's rarely any traffic on it (and no trucks thank God)
