Drowned Rat- Just so you know, I'm not necessarily against (or for) a singles forum. I was more responding to your thinking that Big T was trolling. He's a good guy, and I was just trying to head off a potential misunderstanding between you two ;)

Now back to your regularly scheduled singles forum debate....

Not without a lot of alcohol :D...but to look at it another way, if you can prevent a fire by not giving someone matches, why give them the matches...

Ya I mis-understood... I got forum and thread terminology confused. My troll comment makes more sense that way. :-) I still don't see what all the hull-a-balu is about.

Sorry, tongue firmly planted in cheek :-)

I can see that analogy holding water from the point of a parent (which I'm guessing you are) in respect to looking out for someone who may not know better yet. But people here for the most part are consenting adults and if a forum can be provided for them to persue this, then I say go for it.

Well, as both a child and a parent (more of the former really) I had my fair share of matches taken away....well, at least they were "hidden" for a while....To me the whole thing looks like a ticking bomb....

O.K..I think we have pummeled a dead horse...it is really not up to me to make a decision (which is probably better for the masses anywa)....I have thrown in my pennies, and I am done with my argument...I guess.

Pummeled eh? I'd say that is putting it lightly lol. Well I have to agree, let the chips fall where they may. It's kind of funny that the two people who have absolutely nothing to gain from the forum have argued (ahem...debated) the most :-) I hope there are no hard feelings, let's just agree to disagree and let the moderators/operators do what they feel is best. If yer ever up in my neck of the woods, I'll introduce you to some of the best fresh water diving in the world... 70 + water temp from surface to bottom, 30-100ft vis, tonnes of wrecks, and 500 shades of brown&green fish :D

Clients always ask "Where do I meet decent (men)(women)?"
They are offended by singles bars and internet slob markets.
If they're divers this is a perfect place to meet adults that share
their interests. Divers are a good bunch of people and I'm sure
good internet manners would be enforced.

People spend a good portion of their lives looking for others
with their interests. Sometimes they fall in love and have families
of little divers. This would be a great place to meet.

Why not give it a try?:)

Well, cool off that water some, and you got a deal :haha: I had my first taste of freshwater lake wreck diving this summer in the straits...

I have a trip report somewhere in the wreckdiving forum....needless to say I'm going again next year.

Well it's down to a chilly 50-52 right now, I'm a wetsuit diver so my season is soon coming to a close. The beauty of freshwater diving is there's nothing in there that can eat me lol.
