May 20th thru 22nd Higgins Lake

Hi all. I never dove with any of you before but I am interested and would like to make it up there Saturday morning if thats OK.
What time are you planning to dive on Saturday? Where to meet?
Are these shore dives? I have only dove Higgins off of a boat by the island.
I replied to the other thread that started but it must have gotten lost in the shuffle.
BTW I am a "proud" citizen of Flint also.

Come on up Ken, we will probably start diving around 9 or 10 and It will more then likely be from the amvets beach. that is just west of the state park I think Ironwood is the name of the road. I will send you my Cell phone number to call if you get lost but I think If I remember correctly my sevice doesnt reach up there. I have to go to my dive shop and grab some extra tanks and find out where my buddies are doing there open water exams at. To find out for sure where we will be diving. Yes these will all be shore dives because I dont think Captain MRS MITTEN DIVER can captain there boat in her current condition. You say you never dove with us before huh? hehe it will probably be your last..... Just kidding were a great bunch of people except for mitten_diver. He cant install a pair of glove rings for crap.

Well it seems that the romours are true I called the numbers I had and sent an email to the Air shack in Higgins lake no answer on all fronts so Bring extra tanks looks like the local dive shop will see a great increase in tank rentals this week.

Ok guys I might come down Friday night (day?) and tent it. I'm not sure yet. I have to work at 7am on Sunday so I'd only be a one nighter....I'm usually not a person that plans last minute either. Anyway, I'll know more by Thurday.
