Yeah, but when that raw potato rots in your dive bag , PEEEEEEEEEEWWWWHHHH!!!.

On the potatoe thing. Or I guess with any of the remedies. How often should it be applied? I have done the soft scrub maybe 3 times and toothpaste 2 (in the week that we have had the masks) and use sea drops at the Dive shop pool. Still, it is fogging up after a few minutes underwater. I have even shaved the stashe off. Though I guess that was more of a leak issue.
In a heated pool is the mask gonna fog up worse than in 70ish degree water??

Thought about trying "nothing" pre dive so I will have something to compare to. Then I may try spit. Or could I be breathing out my nose a little to cause it?

Under,
All jokes aside, get a small bottle of Johnson's Baby Shampoo and try it. If it doesn't work for you, you've not lost anything because you can still use it to shampoo your hair.

I've heard of people using it before but how is the best way to use it in ur mask?

Before you get your mask wet, put one drop on the inside of each lens. Smear it completely over the lenses. Gently rinse off the excess in the water.

Go dive and enjoy !!!

Thats what i kind of figured but wasn't sure.

Thanks for the tip i am gonna try it out.

Johnson's Baby Shampoo is the best defog, and cheap too. But just use a tiny amount. And rinse it out pretty well.

The whole idea is just to clean the inside of the mask. Water droplets collect on any contaminants that are on the mask lens. That's why it's important to scrub it with whitening toothpaste when you first get it...to get the little bits of silicone off the lens.
