I've used the same tilos glass mask for years, flamed it multiple times when it was new, did the toothpaste once, cleaned it over and over with dish detergent, and used antifog, spit, but it would always fog up anyway. so I got used to letting it flood to clean but that only lasts a minute or two. last week, finally fed up in my ow cert class as it happened again even with antifog, and made it hard to see the instructor. out of desperation, I flamed it again twice, then tried baking soda with dish soap several times, rinsed. then right before the next dive I applied antifog and didn't wash it out or buff it (contrary to instructions), but let it dry. lo and behold my first dive ever with zero fogging, which was great since it was in the pacific ocean and my first time at depth. so yeah, don't give up, do all the things and try the j&j or other product but don't wash it out and apply it repeatedly between dives.

We flamed our masks a couple of times, used a magic sponge & dish detergent to get them squeaky clean. We use a drop of Sea Gold right before we splash, then slightly rinse off in salt water. After diving, we clean our masks with fresh water, a magic sponge and dish detergent. We've never had our masks fog up, and we usually get quite warm from gearing up before diving in cold water.

These work for me.

OMG thanks for sharing! been suffering from fogging glasses while wearing masks in labs and excited to try this. is it easy enough to apply without causing bubbles, and is it removable (static cling) or permanent?

Yes very easy, I clean my mask first and then apply the stick on Fog-x inserts. Smooth out any bubbles with your finger. When I dive I just wet my mask and then put it on and it does not fog.
