I emailed the help line as suggested on the mares site. As the site (then?) had no help files for the icon it pointed me to a help desk address but, like I said, ...no response even months later.

Luckily I sorted it myself and am happy to pass it on my solution. I am sure Zak is a great person, I've only just joined the forum so I don't know, but I expect better from a major company selling a really ground breaking product - they shouldn't rely on one person on one online forum to handle their support. I expect them to quickly produce a bug fix to a problem that obviously lots of people have had and respond quickly to requests for support; if as you say "we have a whole forum solving this problem as well as a couple of others" that is an indictment of their company's support.

The computer is great but the integration with Dive Organiser software is dreadful. Why does DO show different dive times than the computer?? Why can't I download an updated version of DO without it failing? For now I use the original version of DO and export to DiveLog (although that will now download Icon files directly and sync them with my IPad so I shouldn't need DO any more)
