The temps in the springs are pretty constant around 72F, the east coast is in the lower 70's upper 60's i think. West coast at the moment is in the lower 60's, like i said viz is horrible right now. I dont know how expensive the referrals are with any LDS that go thru Devils or Blue Grotto, but i am sure it wont be as bad as the boat dives off the east coast!
The only thing is that if you are going to Mexico, salt, your buoyancy will be different to what you will dive in the springs, however the temps will be a little warmer than you could find on the coasts here.
