Did two tanks off Ft. Sewall yesterday:

water was 37 degrees
max depth 35 feet
vis was generally 25 - 30 feet

Great day and good diving. Got a couple nice bugs as well.

Nice, what is the name of the dive site?

Thank you for the report

It is an old fort in Marblehead, right down the street from the Barnacle Restaraunt.

Not the most exciting dive in the world but a nice easy shore dive on cold days.

have dove that area (a lil deeper) by boat. Went there first but wind blowing right at the entry point and it was a cold wind. So, we went across to the fort.

I have never seen the Ft, I have been to the other side of the peninsula, where the giant rock is, but haven't done any diving there

The fort is located across marblehead harbor from the lighthouse. if you are standing at the light, look across the harbor to the point on the other side. It does not really look like a fort from there, but you can make out the beach to the left of it.

Or, look up Barnacle Restaraunt and get directions, it is just down the block from there.

I doubt I will get the chance to dive there. It is too cold, and I don't dive in that water in a wetsuit anymore. Besides, I am moving to FL within the next couple weeks, I can warm water dive there all I want :D
