wait til you see your gas bill after the trimix class... you'll be selling your brand new HID for a couple weeks of helium fills... But why fight the urge to sign up for trimix? amazing how helium clears your head even at the 30-50m range.

BTW, what kind of gas planning did you guys do for this penetration? simple thirds, gas matching, ?

bobby made a strict dive plan and we made sure we had more than plenty of gas to spare at the bottom for 25 mins. simple thirds after 25 mins we ascended to 70ft before gas switching for our deco obligations. i still had about 120 bar on my twins at the end of the dive

acknowledging is after the fact you've been hit.

Hope you enjoyed the dive. It is pretty cool dive- I was at the bottom of the 60m room a couple of weeks ago. Its pretty silty in there and I wouldn't do it without a line - you could drive a bus through the restriction which is more a dip though - I fit easily through there in twin 18s and a drysuit. We did about 40min of BT including all the scootering along the wall. All on trimix :14: and yes a fat bill too :(

Who made the hole bigger, I wonder? When I did that dive some six (6) years ago you could barely get through.
