I think Bobby Manas and his team were the ones who mapped out the area and cave. He's a known tech instructor around here (affiliated with ANDI).H2Andy:you guys are doing a major restriction, with equipment removal?
is everyone cave certified or really experienced in this cave?
[edit] ooops... never mind... i misread
Twomixdiver:They say it bottoms out at 220 ft or thereabouts in a large chamber. I haven't done it myself as I would only do this dive on Trimix ($$$$$$).
I would cost this dive at approximately 5 to 7 thousand pesos for helium and deco mixes.
where is drew anyway??? i haven't seen a post from him in ages... he's practically a citizen of PGthepurplehammerhead:Happybuddha did a Malapascua Trimix report (good one too...) so I guess someone down there's got it.
Twomixdiver:In anycase, I would do the cave to 150ft. in manifolded doubles and a stage tank containing 50% nitrox for deco. Easy dive lasting for less than an hour.
pakman:slightly OT: out of curiousity, where else can you get trimix fills outside of PG in the Philippines? If I remember Johan's in Subic had helium or access to it and some places on Mactan (Cebu).
andibk:I think I would make another plan for the weekend.

Spoon:thanks for your concern. we are not penetrating it plus we are staying in the light zone and are breathing the best mix for the depth
