Malpelo, when to go ... ?

18 dives in 6 days at Malpelo and 3 days of travel. Malpelo is 310 miles off the coast of Columbia

So it is 9 days on the ship? You left on July 9 but back on land July 17? Yes, I'm still confused

9 nights on the boat, Friday-Saturday. We head back to Cali at 7:45 tomorrow morning

Glad to hear you had a great trip. I have a buddy who has been asking me to visit and dive Malpelo, but I haven't looked into it this past year due to Covid. I wish I had run across this thread sooner, I might have been able to make this trip. :-(

We had several Whaleshark encounters. One of them liked to hang out next to the boat for few minutes and we snorkeled with it.
