There is a Luxfer steel 120 tank for sale locally. It is painted-red, and stamped 3000psi.
I haven’t bought tanks or checked into them for a while and don’t remember the goid ones and the ones to avoid.
Most steel tanks I see talked about are Worthington.
Are the Luxfer steel tanks good to go?

Other than oxygen tanks and appropriate valve, I've never seen a Luxfer Steel tank for scuba diving.

I am mostly wondering if the tank being painted is less desirable, and is the sterl under the paint galvenized.
Do these tanks use standard size valves?
I am looking online for info, but there is a lot of info to wade through to find what I am looking for.

Nevermind. I looked at the ad on craigslist again. The pics are blurry but I can just make out the stamp AL3000.
He had it listed as steel. It probably isn’t a 120 either.

I just got excited about a steel tank in good condition for $100.
I have 3 AL80s.
