I am going on vacation soon, and for the first time I will travel with my own equipment. I will take my regs/computer in my carry-on, but what about check-in luggage? I know this has been discussed before on the board, and I have laid my eyes on Akona's roller backpack. Unfortunately, you cannot buy this in Europe, and according to Leisurepro, shipment only would cost 130 $.

Basically, what I am looking for is a large bag/suitcase/duffel suited for dive gear as well as clothes/personal, and easy to take on a trip. I have found this duffel which I think could do its job, since it has got wheels on it:

Any other suggestions on how to travel with dive gear? I do not want a Mares bag that screams "Please steal me and my expensive dive gear"!

Thank you in advance.

It said "dive" all over it. It could hold 2 divers worth of warm water gear, was no more resistent to airline baggage wounds and it hurt to carry. Instead my wife & I bought some plain luggage sets (one roller bag & one smaller duffel each) which hold everything, reasonably priced, and doesn't attract as much attention. With the new trend toward airline enforcement of size & weight restrictions, I expect the large dive bag to go the way of the dinosaur.
