Does anyone make a LP95 or LP108 galvanized tank anymore? I see the faber tanks are a sliver coating on the low pressure tanks. Some of the HP are galvanized.

Faber does I think. They make LP85 hot-dipped galvanized

According to my dealer sheet, that's it. L.p. 85 and hp tanks galv..

Why buy new? There are plenty of good galvanized tanks for sale out there that will meet your needs. You will also save a good deal of money buying used tanks as opposed to new ones.

It is my understanding that they are no longer in production.

HP117 and HP130 cylinders are substantially identical to LP95 and LP108s except for the type of steel used and maximum fill pressure -- same size, same buoyancy, same capacity at 2640 PSI. Those are available galvanized from Faber now.

Good places to look to find those... locally?
I may be a bit outdated by still trying with Craigslist...

I've found that a lot of scuba sales have unfortunately moved to Facebook. I find it harder to search than Craigslist as there's so many groups you've got to dig through.

Hard to do in the midwest. I lucked out and got four HP120s from a diver who moved here from the coast, but otherwise all my larger cylinders have come from out of state, through listings here and on eBay. I have found that most people who state they won't ship are willing to do so if I send them boxes and a prepaid UPS label. It's a hassle and it's taken me a year of watching to accumulate the cylinders I want.

Like Victor said. Hit the sale groups on facebook. Cave diving forum is also a good place to find tanks. Even if you have to pay shipping, used tanks can save a bundle.
