WARNING!

THIS CYLINDER IS DESIGNED FOR SCUBA DIVING
AND SHOULD NOT BE USED FOR ANY OTHER
PURPOSE. IMPROPER USE OF THIS CYLINDER, OR
USE BY ANY OTHER PERSON NOT PROPERLY
TRAINED AND CERTIFIED BY A RECOGNIZED DIVER
CERTIFICATION PROGRAM, MAY RESULT IN DEATH
OR SERIOUS INJURY. THE VALVE
IS INTENDED FOR
USE WITH PURE BREATHING AIR. THIS CYLINDER
MAYBE USED FOR OXYGEN, OXYGEN-ENRICHED
AIR OR NITROX ONLY IF FITTED WITH A PROPER
VALVE.

ESSENTIAL INFORMATION FOR OWNERS

1 A leak check must be performed at the first fill. Your cylinder has been
visually inspected prior to factory installation of the valve and boot, and a sticker
valid for one year is installed at the factory.

2. Obtain fills only at a reputable fill station. The valve inlet and fill connection
must be clean and dry before filling.

3. Do not overfill your cylinder. The cylinder is authorized by both DOT for plus
(+) rating (110% filling). The maximum fill pressure is 2,640 psi at 70 degrees F.
Do not overfill. OVERFILLING MAY RESULT IN DEATH OR SERIOUS
INJURY.

4. Prevent water from entering your cylinder and air system. Always check that
the valve outlet is dry before connecting the regulator. You should end your dive
with some residual cylinder pressure. If there is any possibility that water has
entered the cylinder, always remove the valve immediately and insure that the
interior is dry.

5. Thoroughly rinse the outside of the cylinder, valve and boot with fresh
water after salt water use. Prolonged storage with residual salt, particularly
under the boot wilt ruin your new cylinder. If you do not have adequate fresh
water supply to rinse the cylinder, do not use the boot.

6. Protect the cylinder and valve from sharp impacts and abrasions. This
cylinder contains air at 2,640 psi. The air exerts a force of about 800 tons
against the inside of the cylinder. The cylinder s job is to protect you; you should
protect the cylinden

7. Always store the cylinder clean. Store upright in a cool dry location
with about 50 psi of residual air pressure. Keep the valve closed and the
outlet protected from contamination.

8. Have the cylinder visually inspected at least once a year by a
qualified technician at your AquaAire dealer. The interior of the
cylinder has no coating to peel or flake off but it is covered with a tight
oxide binder which is a by-product of the strengthening heat treat
process. With use, the cylinder interior may take on a reddish cast due
to the development of a light rust bloom. This should not be considered
harmful and need not be removed unless in the opinion of a qualified
technician the corrosion is heavy enough to hide possible pits or harmful
gouges.

9. Have your cylinder retested and inspected at least once every five years, or
more often if there is any evidence of damage. In the US, retesters must
possess a current Retesters Identification Number (RIN) issued by the US
Department of Transportation. In Canada, the retester must have a registered
mark issued by Transport Canada. Make sure that the retest is performed in
accordance with the procedures in PST Bulletin DI00, Procedures for
Hydrostatic Retesting of Hot Dip Galvanized SCUBA Cylinders. The reactive
zinc coating which makes PST hot dip galvanized tanks so durable also requires
special care in retesting to assure accurate results. These procedures are
specifically authorized in both DOT and TC regulations, but all retesters may not
be familiarwith them. Bulletin DI00 is available by FAX or E-mail directly from
PST
