Wish I had marked them. I marked all my other gear, including the BCD, but never thought to pull the pouches out and mark those too.
I carry half my weight integrated and the other half on a belt. I didn't have to worry about a runaway ascent because I only ditched 25% of the weight I was carrying. I still went up, just not as fast as I could have.
