Well gang... it looks like we're officially sanctioned! I was doing a search in a specific category, and on the category list I noticed the "New England Divahs" forum!

Ya gots ta admit, these californians ah pretty quick!

I like .. but I have a question .. is NY a New England State? Should have just called it NorthEast Divers .. (which I just thought of, Doh) Oh well, New England Divers is just as good. Laters.

Now what did we say about ourselves in our organizing document?

And wasn't someone going to post a poll on potential names?

Scuba-sass :-)

Short answer...no. In order to qualify as a New England state, you must fulfill two key criteria:

1) You must maintain a proper Dunkin Donuts per capita ratio. In addition to actually serving donuts and coffee, all topside navigation in New England is performed using Dunkin Donuts locations.

2) Every place where a normal intersection would do must be replaced with a "roundabout" that could easily spell the demise of all its travelers. We don't need no stinkin' intersections...

Seriously, there are only six New England states:

Maine
New Hampshire
Vermont
Mass
Rhode Island
Connecticut

Perhaps, if you permanently disavow all knowledge of and affiliation with the Yankees and Jets we might be able to make an exception...

;)

That's basically the crux of the situation. The most important question on the New England Citizenship test is "Are you, or have you ever been, a Jets or Yankees fan".

OK, the Dunkin Donut thing is a pushing it a bit. Down here we get around by what exit of the Garden State Parkway or NJ turnpike you live off of... And the local landmark is the diner...

Now we do have roundabouts, but we call them circles. We even name them after diners too, like Olga's circle in Marlton, NJ.

NINman, if they won't let us play in there club mybe we'll just have to start our own... and not let them on our turnpikes... They'll have to drive through Canada to get to Florida then
:out:

I don't know what mshieldsdunn is talking about... They've always been, and always will be rotarys.

No need to get elitist... I'm thinking you guys start a mid-atlantic group, then we can have a couple o' mixers each year! That'd be fun... the look on the bartender's face as he reads the name tags "Hello my name is Spectre" "Hello my name is tchil01"

It'd be wicked pisser ya think?
